Office Concierge
An office concierge is probably the best thing to happen to business since the computer. A bold boast! You might say that, but utilized, an absolutely true one.
Consider this: If it’s true that approximately 18% of an employees day is consumed by personal business, that the pressure of balancing work, family, and play is the primary stress factor in business today, and if it’s also true that 80% of married couples both work, that 87% have family responsibilities, and 72% don’t feel their meeting familial obligations, than the office concierge becomes at least as essential as the computer in terms of impact on business.
When the office concierge drops off and picks up the dry cleaning, takes the car for cleaning, service and fill up, shops—for dinner, or to restock the pantry, pays the bills, reconciles the bank statement, calls the plumber when the ice maker hose breaks, manages your personal calendar i.e. it’s Aunt Penney’s and Uncle Ralph’s anniversary, Jakes graduation, or his or hers birthday your concierge will pick up the gift/card, mail or deliver the gift/card—too impersonal? Nah. They’ll never know it was Conciant.
The office concierge is valuable for the reasons stated, but maybe even more valuable for the reasons not stated. Rub the lamp. All requests, legal and ethical, will be granted. That, my dears—Is progress!
